I Am Yoga Pilates is a super cool, old-school-style studio just south of Yorkville on Yonge — and yes, we’re obsessed with those exposed brick walls.
The class itself? Not exactly a walk in the park, but definitely a sweat fest. We left feeling sore, sweaty, and slightly humbled. The instructor was polished, poised, and impressively flexible — her flow was steady, well-balanced, and packed with a wide range of moves for a solid 60 minutes.
If you’re into hot classes and handstands, this one’s definitely for you. While it leaned toward the more challenging side, the class had a nice mix of participants — from beginners to bendy experts and everything in between. Pro tip: the center of the room is hot hot hot — so choose your mat spot wisely!
